About: Patch 1.09 for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle For Middle-earth II has been released! Link to patch 1.09 download page: Link to LOTR BFME2 HD Edition download page: TO FIX NO CD/DVD ERROR FOR BFME2: Download this file from here: extract the folder from within the bfme2-1.06n1.09nocd file. Next take the file called game.dat from that folder you extracted and drop it into your game files found at C: Program Files (x86) Electronic Arts The Battle for Middle-earth (tm) II. It will ask you to overwrite and you say yes but before you say yes I suggest making a backup copy of your old game.dat first just in case. This should allow you to play without a disc now BUT THIS FIX DOES NOT WORK WITH PATCH 1.00, so keep that in mind in case you want to play that patch. Also this will not effect online play compatibility so no worries there. Thanks for watching!
